Final Destination 4 Started August 28th
Hey all you Final Destination fans, I've heard this is a good movie to see!
I am not a huge fan of Final Destination, I have NEVER seen any of them in the theater, and the only reason I will be seeing this one is because my daughter is in it!
She was picked to be an extra in the movie and all this time we were hoping her scene would not be cut and it wasn't!

My Daughter and her Fiance
My daughter (Tara) and her Fiance (Chris) were going to a Gala (meet and great) for the Zephyr's baseball team tonight.
They came by so her dad and I could see how they looked and take pictures.
I tell you she is so happy. They looked happy and that's the best thing!

My Daughter's Hurt Foot
On Wednesday Afternoon I got a phone call from my daughter. I answered the phone and all I heard from the other side was "Mom you're coming with me to the hospital tonight!" I stayed calm and asked "what happened" of course thinking she was making something minor into something major. Sometimes she is more afraid that it is worse and needs medical attention. lol NOT this time!
This is my daughter's foot! She went to the hospital and they told her that she sprained the ligaments in her ankle/foot!
She did this getting out of a Penske truck! They are like UHaul's. Now it wasn't one you use for moving, it was another truck. She was getting out of her friends truck and she missed the step and landed the wrong way on her foot. She couldn't get up to walk. Her friend had to help her up and into her home.
This is the cast my daughter's foot was wrapped in. She had gauze wrapped around her foot and then the cast and then 2 ace bandages wrapped around the cast! She is off of work until Monday!
She was here yesterday, so I could help her and take care of her. She wanted to take it all off, because she wants to get use to not having it all on so she can go back to work. It still hurts a lot though. She is on Vicoden for pain.
While she was here yesterday, we watched Sex In The City The Movie. LOL All I can say is it was well worth the wait to see it!
I will buy the movie someday!

My Daughter got engaged!
My daughter and her boyfriend went to Gatlinburg Tennessee to Dollywood with his parents last week. She came back engaged!
They have set the date for July 25, 2009. I hope they can save up enough money for their wedding. There is NO way I will let my daughter plan a $10,000 wedding! There is NO money for that. Maybe $2,000 - $3,000 and that is stretching it, but it is her big day and I want it to be a nice as possible. They are trying to save at least $1,000 and if we can donate $1,000 and his parents can donate that much, then everything should go smoothly. lol Hopefully it will be cheaper, but I doubt it. lol
She is thinking about having a classic wedding I think she said classic. lol
She was thinking of having the matron of honor in a black and white dress.
I DON'T like that idea, so I hope I can change her mind of those colors. lol
I thought she would actually choose pink, and now she is saying black and white. lol I have some time to convience her that those colors are not the right colors for her wedding.
I just hope the groom loosens up a bit. He is still getting to know us and we are still getting to know him, so he isn't too relaxed yet, but I sure hope that happens soon.
So needless to say, I will probably start a blog about everything going on with the wedding. lol

Brought Daughter to the ER today
My daughter called me around 10:15 and told me she was throwing up more blood and that the doctor had told her to go to the ER. We got to the ER at 11:34 am and we were finally called back to see the doctor at 1pm.
We saw the doctor and told him everything from Monday doctor's visit and about this morning and he asked her if she was coughing up or vomiting. I told the doctor she hasn't been coughing and my daughter told him she was laying down and tasted the blood coming up. His reply: he said he didn't know what to tell us!
I was not happy to hear that! This is an older doctor and he doesn't know what to tell us? Does that make any sense? lol
He then said he can do an x-ray and blood test to be sure there isn't anything life threatening and asked if we wanted to do that. I mean it was like this doctor didn't want to touch my daughter at all!
We didn't get results until after 4pm and the x ray's were taken around 2:20 or so and the blood work was taken at 2:48.
When the nurse came in, it was simply the doctor diagnosed her with Gastritis(bleeding of the stomach lining). She now needs a GI specialist. Continue to take the meds her doc prescribed for her.
She is calling her doctor in the morning to see if she can refer her to one. If she does, it will be a free doctor or one who does the sliding scale payments. No insurance for all this.
The GI specialist will tell her the diet she needs, etc.
So this is where we stand right now.
Please say a prayer that things work out for my daughter and she doesn't need surgery

Interesting Business Owner
Today was interesting to say the least. My daughter calls me a 8 am upset that her boss may not be able to pay her tomorrow because she is sequestered on a jury. Now I ask you does this seem right? I mean I would think if this person is going to be a business owner and be the only one that can do things, she should have been able to get out of it or make other arrangements. Oh this is a day care owner folks and she owns 2 of them.
I spent time today trying to add to my other blogs, for extra money and for shopping and earning money at home with WAHM companies. Although I am not sure of the name so for now it will remain "wahm specialties". lol Listed under my other blogs as Companies I rep for.
Then when my daughter got off work we went to the PO to mail off my student loan dismissal papers AGAIN! This time I did it certified with a return receipt. lol I want to know these people got it this time. I know I can have the loan dismissed, and they just are being ignorant. Anyway, to mail that it was almost $6. WOW expensive for something I am trying to get rid off, but worth it to know they received the document this time. I waited 6 weeks from the last time I sent it and have heard NOTHING!
Then we went to the store and man did they have a nice sale on fruit! I got apples, oranges, bananas and grapes. I am trying to start my diet. Still have some birthday cake to get rid of, but I should have a problem with it. Not too much left. :)
Having beef stew for dinner, hope the can is enough, but if it isn't, I'll eat an orange or something. :)
